Why YOUR business Needs Web Video

23 April 2010 by admin No Comment

Everyone agrees that you must have a website for your business, and it’s fast becoming essential to have video on that website to inspire confidence in the consumer and show your professionalism (Not to mention in getting a good SEO ranking in Google and other search engines). To have a short film produced for your small business is likely to cost $1000-2000 or more, plus the challenge of finding a reputable production company, one who understands the personal chef industry, and who will stand behind their product.

I have been making videos for the last 3 years, and after making literally hundreds of videos for the Culinary Media Network and for restaurants, and food and beverage clients all over the world, I’m now offering the same service to fellow personal chefs and other small business owners for an affordable price.

Still wondering why you should use video on your website?

Don’t take my word for it. Here’s a video interview with Bruce Clay, Search Engine Optimization expert, who shares why it’s now ESSENTIAL to have video on your site if you plan on having a decent ranking on Google and other search engines in the future:

Bruce says: “I think, that a year from now, we’re going to be sitting here saying that if you don’t have video, if you don’t have engagement options on your website, you’re just NOT going to rank. It will make you last among equals if you don’t have them.”

43.3% of merchants will update their e-commerce sites with video THIS YEAR! If you don’t, you’ll be left behind. Customers trust companies they can SEE and get to know with video before they buy.
